International cricket: England v Australia, third Test, Perth
Friday December 13, 2.30am
Sky Sports 1, NOW TV
With the Ashes series now in full swing, the teams continue their battle in Perth on Australia’s west coast. One of the world’s most remote cities, Perth is closer to Jakarta, Indonesia (1,865 miles) than it is to Sydney (2,045 miles). Perth’s time zone means the cricket is still being played when the cornflakes are being poured, so it is possible to squeeze in a few overs without having to wake up while it’s still dark. Be warned though. England’s record in Perth is woeful and their defeat in the 2011 series was their sixth in succession.
