LG’s soundbar picks up gong
LG has scooped a highly-coveted Best Buy award for its NB4530A soundbar at What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision‘s 2013 Awards…
Against tough competition in the ‘Best soundbar up to £400′ category, the soundbar impressed judges who commended its excellent sound, slim build and affordable price.
“LG deserves the plaudits for squeezing plenty of features into, and excellent sound out of, this remarkably thin soundbar” said What HI-Fi? Sound and Vision in its five-star review.
2013 has been the year of the soundbar with the market booming as more products become available. That LG’s soundbars were so well received is no surprise though. The latest award continues what has been a successful year for LG, which also received the award for Best Audio-Visual Brand in Which? magazines’ awards, the first time the brand has won the prestigious title.
This year has also seen five-star reviews in What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision for the NB3520A soundbar and G2 smartphone, which was crowned Stuff magazine’s number one smartphone while being hailed ‘the greatest smartphone in the world’.
LG hasn’t finished yet though. With the launch of a curved OLED TV announced and similar tech being introduced to the mobile market its sights are set on adding more silverware to the cabinet.
